A belated happy new year from the team here at CliniCloud. We hope you’ve had a great start to 2016 and thanks to everyone that’s reached out over the past couple of months with feedback and suggestions.
At CliniCloud, it’s been a busy start to the year. We pushed a major 1.1 release to our iOS app which updates the thermometer firmware and fixes many of the known issues on the app. Our dev team is also working around the clock to get the Android app ready for release.
In addition to product work, we’ve been spending a lot of time with users and partners to work out more ways CliniCloud can be deployed to improve the healthcare experience for consumers. We also attended the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January and were encouraged by the response and the feedback from all types of users from hospitals, to insurers and of course, end users.
Over the next few months, we are predominantly focused on the US and Canada with product recently launched at BestBuy Canada and toward the end of Q1 in BestBuy US. We are also working closely with Doctor On Demand and look forward to being able to share some news on the integration and general availability of that soon.
The other focus for us too is learning as much as we can about the product experience from a physician perspective and integrating CliniCloud to improve their patient’s healthcare experience (such as enabling instant feedback on urgent issues, via remote “house calls”) without interrupting the physician’s normal workflow. Instrumental to this has been Dr.Chad Rudnick of VIP Pediatrics who has pioneered the use of CliniCloud in his fantastic clinic in Boca Raton (see video below for how Dr Chad is using CliniCloud on this segment on WPBF news).
