As the holiday season is in full swing, we thought we’d write a quick thank-you to all of our wonderful customers and supporters for a memorable 2016. As a young company we’ve experienced a great deal of growth this year and we couldn’t have done it without your enthusiasm, interest and encouragement.
With thousands of people now using our devices and smartphone app to track the health of themselves and their families and seek medical assistance when needed, we’ve celebrated many achievements this year, and also learned a lot along the way.
Some highlights from 2016 include:
Expanding the availability of our kit with great partners including Best Buy, Amazon, FSAStore and B8ta.
Forming partnerships with leading telemedicine firms, concierge practices, and urgent care centers.
Building our team both here in Melbourne Australia, and also with the addition of our new head of growth Michael Roeder in the United States.
Being recognized with a number of awards including Gold in the 2016 Edison Awards.
Strengthening our ties with Microsoft and meeting CEO Satya Nadella (pictured above) on his visit to Melbourne in November
In addition to the steady growth, we’ve been working hard to shape our plans for 2017 and will soon be releasing our API/SDK to enable key partners to add not only CliniCloud devices to their platform but a number of other third party devices. If you’d like preview access to this in Q1 2017 please let us know and we’ll include you on our preview list.
How CliniCloud is being used today, by:
The kit is now being used by thousands of families in the US and in some other key markets around the world and has been featured by a number of parenting blogs. Fashion and lifestyle blogger (and mom of two) Caroline Harper provides a great insight into how busy parents use the kit.
We’ve been pleased to see forward thinking physicians adopt our kit in their practices and some of the ways it’s been used to improve their ability to deliver care remotely and encourage their patients to play a more active role in their health. A media appearance in January by one of our key supporters Dr.Chad Rudnick hints at the potential this technology brings.
One of our main goals with the CliniCloud kit is to enable partners to extend their ability to engage and diagnose patients remotely. In 2016 we worked with Doctor On Demand to build the first true integration connected devices and a major telemedicine platform and we look forward to expanding this program in 2017.
Payers and Providers
As insurers and health care providers continue to look for ways to engage patients and deliver affordable care we now feel well poised to assist. In 2016 we’ve built partnerships with a number of providers including Astra Health Care and look forward to expanding this part of the business next year.
What's else are you working on?
We get asked this quite a bit! While we can't reveal too much just yet, we're testing two new products at present that we're really excited about. Both products aim to build on everything we've learned over the past two years about how people manage their health at home and how employers deliver care to their staff. We're fascinated by the potential new technologies bring to health care and are particularly excited about the roles voice and AI technologies can play. I look forward to sharing more news on these products as we get closer to launch.
Working together in 2017.
We're looking to expand our roster of partners in 2017, so if you've been wondering how we could work together feel free to reach out and we can give you a sneak peek at what we're working on, as well as preview access to our API/SDK for the CliniCloud Kit.
Last but not least thank-you for your support and have a safe and happy Christmas and festive season!
On behalf of myself, Hon and our entire team at CliniCloud we wish you and your family a safe and happy Christmas and we'll see you in the new year.
